Caption: Brandon Hill and the 18th century stone bridge over the River Barrow at Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny, Ireland. The bridge was built in 1764-7 and damaged by Crown Forces in 1798 as they attempted to impede the progress of rebels from neighbouring County Carlow. Brandon Hill (Irish: Cnoc BhrÊanail) is the highest mountain in County Kilkenny,, with an elevation of 515 m (1,690 ft) and prominence at 448 m (1,470 ft).
