Caption: Neuschwanstein Castle (German: Schloss Neuschwanstein) is a 19th-century palace built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria in honour of Richard Wagner. It is located in the Swabia region of Bavaria, in the municipality of Schwangau. The Marienbrucke is 35-metre long iron bridge across the Pöllat gorge, constructed in 1866.
